St George’s Church with its lantern tower hosts a series of uplifting events.
Artists create the Light Up Ramsgate Trail of light installations all through the town.
Free community workshops mean you can join in and make something to contribute to the overall sparkle - and everyone is encouraged to do their own thing.
A programme of Light Up Lates events adds to the town’s nightlife offer.
In December Advent Doors begin to open and the cheer spreads from door to door.
Also in December is the Weekend of Wonder, with a Christmas market, late night shopping and more surprises to be announced.
The New Year’s Eve Lantern Parade is a spectacular community celebration of love, peace and joy to the world.
Events and displays continue until 1 February.
