Starting with the Christmas Lights switch on in the town centre and Let There be Light event at St George’s Church, on 30th November, something magical begins in Ramsgate.

A programme of Light Up Lates events adds to the town’s nightlife offer.
In December Advent Doors begin to open and the cheer spreads from door to door.
11 - 14 December is the Weekend of Wonders (featured on BBC SE News in 2024).
The New Year’s Eve Lantern Parade is a spectacular community celebration of love, peace and joy to the world.
