Ramsgate Illuminations

Shining brightest by mid-December and the Weekend of Wonder

The inspiration and centrepiece for our Festival is the wonderful spectacle of the boats and arches in Ramsgate Royal Harbour, all lit up for the festive season. Bravo the boat owners and Royal Temple Yacht Club who make this happen every year and delight so many visitors and residents alike! 

Last year saw 76 boats join the illuminated spectacle, creating a dazzling display across the Royal Harbour and raising funds for Ramsgate RNLI.

Look out for additional Light Up Ramsgate installations, particulary during the Weekend of Wonder (11-14 December), which last year featured on BBC TV news.
