Ramsgate Christmas Lights Switch On

​The festivities begin with a day of family fun including:

• Live performances from local acts and pantomime favourites
• Naughty Elves
• Santa Science Sleuthing with Discovery Planet in Ramsgate Space, Albert Court
• Children’s rides including flying chairs and more!
• Creative workshops, making crowns, Santa Cards and more!
• Lantern Workshops for the New Year's Eve Parade at Arts in Ramsgate
• A festive Christmas Market in Queen Street
• Complete the Elf Trail to uncover the secret message and hand it to Mrs Claus for free entry to Santa's Grotto at his new home in Silvers, Harbour Street!

THE BIG SWITCH ON IS AT 4.30PM!

Then at 4.45pm, follow the band, Samba Ya Wantsum, to St George’s Church for the ‘Let There Be Light’ event! A magical evening of colourful illuminations on the outside of the church by Greenaway and Greenaway and James Brown AV, hot chocolate, mince pies, and live music from Samba Ya Wantsum, Gaddzukes and Kent Soul Choir.
