Overview
Back for its second year, Light Up Ramsgate turns the town centre into a walkable winter gallery of glowing, pulsing, and dancing light artworks.
This winter, shopfronts and public spaces in Ramsgate’s town centre will shine with a carefully curated trail of light-based installations. Guided by the soft themes of Magic / Joy / Wonder, Light Up Ramsgate invites you to wander at your own pace and discover intimate moments of colour, play, and reflection across the town.
This year’s trail features 11 commissioned and invited works presented as a series of pocket-sized experiences. Whether you're an art lover or simply a lover of light, Light Up Ramsgate offers a magical way to explore your town.
